Connecting via FTP to Your Site Using Windows Explorer

This tutorial will instruct you on the procedure of connecting to your web site file folders via File Transfer Protocol, or FTP as it is most commonly known. Internet Explorer 7 will be used for this tutorial. There are numerous other FTP programs available but we have chosen to use Internet Explorer 7 because most Windows customers will have it installed already.

a. Open Internet Explorer 7.

b. Type ftp://ftp.example.com into the address bar. (Replace example.com with your domain name)
